Well, I started a blog about Christmastime, but didn't follow up. I decided to quit blogging. Then, I decided to quit trying to be a perfectionist and just Blog when I can. So..here I go. Today, I am supposed to go to work. I am also supposed to go to Oklahoma City for continuing education to keep my license. Well, strep throat has killed my work day and the ice has killed my continuing education...for today at least. We'll see how it turns out.
I was very sick yesterday. I was sicker than I can remember being. I am very luck to not be sick very often, but I really became thankful yesterday that I am healthy and I live in a country and time where medication is readily available. I can not imagine going through today feeling like I did yesterday. I think I was awake for a total of 6 hours. My skin burned and anything that touched me hurt. I wondered if chronic illness felt that way. I hope not. It sure changed my perspective. Ok, enough for now.
